Dress for Success isn’t just about looking good; it’s about feeling good from the inside out.

Marie-Ange, a dedicated physician in Haiti, found herself amidst the chaos when her country was struck by its most devastating earthquake in its history. Alongside her husband, who shared her commitment to healthcare, she courageously dove into the heart of the tragedy, providing medical aid to the wounded on the streets and tirelessly aiding whoever crossed their path. In the aftermath, with their home destroyed and their careers in ruins, they made the bold decision to relocate to the United States, where Marie-Ange’s sister and brother-in-law generously welcomed them into their home.

Arriving in a new country with nothing but determination, Marie-Ange faced the daunting task of rebuilding her life from scratch. Despite the immense challenges, she refused to be deterred. While caring for her two young daughters and her mother, supporting her husband’s endeavors, and navigating through a series of dead-end jobs, she worked to overcome the trauma of the past years. Marie-Ange found hope in Dress for Success Western Massachusetts, whose network of support provided her with the foundation she needed to begin rebuilding her sense of self.

Fueled by resilience and a desire to create positive change, she seized the opportunity to enroll in Tech Foundry’s IT support training program. Through dedication and hard work, she successfully completed the program and emerged as a beacon of inspiration.

Today, Marie-Ange serves as the Community Impact Manager at Tech Foundry, where she channels her passion for helping others into meaningful action. Collaborating with like-minded partners, she plays a pivotal role in uplifting the Western Massachusetts region, earning recognition as one of the most promising leaders of the next generation.
